Linda VanGosen
Vice President, Menu Innovation, McDonald's USA
As VP of Menu Innovation, VanGosen provides leadership across all aspects of menu innovation for McDonald’s throughout its more than 14,000 US restaurants.   Specifically, she is responsible for directing all menu activities including elevating food quality, unlocking customer and culinary insights, and leading development and commercialization efforts -- ensuring that McDonald’s USA has unique and compelling offerings for every key consumer and every daypart to support the achievement of Bigger Bolder Vision 2020.
 
Prior to joining McDonald’s USA, VanGosen was most recently with Starbucks Coffee Company as Vice President of Food Business Development, where she was responsible for the overall vision and strategic direction of Starbucks Evenings, including all facets of the customer experience, category management, P&L accountability and retail integration. 
 
Previous industry experience includes executive leadership roles responsible for brand strategy, menu innovation, culinary and marketing at leading brands in the QSR and Casual Dining segments as part of YUM Brands, Brinker International and TGI Friday’s organizations.
 
VanGosen began her career at KPMG as a management consultant focused on executing divestitures and large-scale enterprise restructuring in Eastern Europe.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University and an MSFS from Georgetown University.
 
VanGosen resides in Wilmette with her husband Luke and twin boys Ethan and Brandon.
