NY Mets Players Surprise Children at RMHC for McDelivery Day
In advance of McDonald’s Global McDelivery Day, New York Mets players Michael Conforto and Brandon Nimmo surprised pediatric cancer families staying at the Ronald McDonald House New York with exclusive merchandise from the McDelivery Throwback Collection and popular McDonald’s menu items via McDelivery. Families that attended the event had the opportunity to mingle with the players and receive autographs. The House provides temporary housing for pediatric cancer patients and their families in a strong, supportive and caring environment. Uniquely positioned at the nexus of healthcare and hospitality, the House serves as the international haven for pediatric cancer patients and their families from around the world. Families from 53 countries globally have stayed at the House over the past six years.
